Hello, I’m an Senior Android Engineer with 8+ years of experience (time passes fast…) in my professional carreer I was mainly focusing on Android. However, during that path I was involved in many topics outside of Android and even outside of Engineering. In the past I changed roles from beeing an Android Engineer moving on to more structural and fundamental roles such as Architecting App’s and Backend Systems along with all the surrounding skills you need in form of organizing, presenting, discussing and communicating. In the beginning it was mainly focused on app and team level but I was fast becoming the influencer of the surrounding world. I do like to work with people together, giving them the tools, freedom and power they need where on the other hand I help them to stay on track and achieve what they want.
Some of the key achievements in my career are the building and consulting of an Design-System, introducing gRPC for service to service and service to client communication, managing and migration of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, gitlabCI, Jenkins), building and consulting teams with agile mindsets and methodology and most probably keypart was and still is mentoring other people helping them succeed in there career.
